Situated amidst the picturesque landscape of Putpa Yaki, ‘The Field’ is a purpose-built site exclusively designed for weddings and events. With a capacity for up to 200 guests in either outdoor or marquee events, The Field provides a charming and versatile setting for celebrations.
The meticulously manicured 2000m2 grassed field has expansive views of the Ashton range and Adelaide cityscape. Our indoor space ‘The Barn’ is currently under renovation and will allow sit down or cocktail functions in late 2024.
To ensure your celebration is nothing short of extraordinary, we have exclusive partnerships with reputable wedding suppliers, each carefully selected to operate seamlessly within our venue. They understand the venue in its entirety, bringing their expertise to curate an unforgettable experience.
When you choose Putpa Yaki for your event, you’ll have exclusive access to the entire property, allowing you to immerse yourself in the rustic elegance, complete with all amenities. We choose to run a limited number of events per year, through the Autumn and Spring seasons. This allows for the best of the Adelaide hills weather and allows our facilities to remain in an optimum state.
Catering & Drinks
EMBR hospitality, a reputable service led by the renowned Adelaide Chef Sam Worrall Thompson, handles the kitchen and event management. This is the team behind award winning restaurants Dolly and Bar Lune, and specialists in pop-up events such as the Sailing Club.
This collaboration ensures a seamless experience, with no detail forgotten.
Additionally, you are also provided with your own event coordinator to guide you to your perfect day.

Transport
To enhance the convenience and safety of attendees, a thoughtful initiative is the organisation of a bus service to transport guests to and from Bar Lune in Kensington. This provides a stress-free journey and adds to the overall enjoyment of the event. Putpa Yaki provides limited parking facilities for event guests.
The Farmhouse
Our homestead, ‘The Farmhouse’, proudly stands amidst flourishing bushland, providing you comfort while preparing for your special event. Recently refurbished with accommodation for up to 9 guests, the property boasts comfortable amenities and breathtaking sunset views.
Inside, the house features a sophisticated and stylish design, seamlessly blending modern furnishings with rustic-chic details. The generously sized kitchen and living areas cater for larger groups to enjoy time together. Enjoy some friendly competition with rounds of pool in the living room, engage in conversations on the cozy couches, and bask in the warmth of the fire.
Each of the four bedrooms is adorned with quality furniture and plush bedding. All linen, bedding, and bath towel needs are provided and included in the cleaning fee, ensuring a stress-free and relaxing arrival. There are a total of 2 bathrooms, 2 living spaces and a generous verandah to enjoy.
No private events are to be hosted in the Farmhouse, instead, event managers will help you to best utilize our purpose-built event spaces. The farmhouse kitchen is yours to enjoy, with event catering taking place elsewhere.
A stay at ‘The Farmhouse at Putpa Yaki’ presents a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature right at your doorstep. Situated adjacent to the Horsnell Gully and Giles Conservation parks, the property allows you to explore segments of the Yurrebilla Trail, providing a truly spectacular experience.
The Farm
